Booking Your Pre-Raya Deep Clean in Ampang: 2026 Schedule and What to Expect
Raya 2026 falls on 21 March. Our schedule for pre-Raya deep cleans in Ampang and Selangor opens 1 February — here's how to lock in your slot and what to prep before we arrive.
Raya falls on 21 March in 2026, which means most Ampang homeowners are doing the mental maths right now: weekend deep clean themselves, or book a professional for the week before. We’ve taken bookings for pre-Raya deep cleans for years, and the same pattern repeats — slots fill from the first week of February onwards, with the final two weeks before Raya completely sold out by mid-month.
Here is how our 2026 pre-Raya schedule looks, what to do to lock in your slot, and how to make the cleaning day go smoothly.
When pre-Raya bookings open and close
Our pre-Raya booking window for 2026 opens 1 February and closes when capacity fills. Based on the last three years:
- Week of 1-7 Feb: 30-40% of our pre-Raya capacity booked
- Week of 8-14 Feb: 60-70% booked, peak handover-style demand
- Week of 15-21 Feb: typically 85-90% booked
- 22 Feb onwards: only late-cancellation slots available, no flexibility on day
If you want a specific date in the final week before Raya (the week of 14-20 March, what we call the “Raya prep week”), book by mid-February.
Why pre-Raya cleans are different from a normal deep clean
The scope is the same — we work the same room-by-room checklist as a quarterly deep clean. What changes is the timing pressure and the visual emphasis.
Timing pressure
Most clients want the clean done in the final 7-10 days before Raya so the home is at peak sparkle for open-house visitors. That compresses our schedule heavily — we run 3-cleaner teams across longer days, with most homes done in a single visit.
Visual emphasis
Pre-Raya open houses mean guests see surfaces you don’t normally notice — high shelves, the underside of ceiling fans, the corner skirtings in the dining room. We adjust the standard checklist to add extra attention to:
- Ceiling fan blades — the dust ring on top of fan blades is the first thing guests notice when they look up
- Light fittings and chandelier dust — same logic, easily missed during routine cleaning
- Picture rails and door frames — guests touch these by accident on the way past
- Skirtings throughout the living and dining areas — visible while seated at floor level
- The kitchen back wall and exhaust hood — open-plan kitchens get scrutinised
How to prep the home before our team arrives
A few things you can do that make the cleaning day faster and the result better:
- Move small valuables (jewellery, cash, important documents) into a single closed drawer or wardrobe. Our team is vetted and supervised, but this is for your peace of mind and it speeds our movement.
- Clear the floor — laundry baskets, kids’ toys, anything not part of room furniture. We charge per visit not per hour, but a cluttered home extends our day.
- Identify any fragile or recently-finished surfaces (newly polished wood, fresh paint, expensive marble). Tell our supervisor so we use the right technique.
- Decide on add-ons — interior fridge clean, interior oven clean, wardrobe interior. These are paid extras. Tell us in advance.
Booking your slot
WhatsApp us at +60 16-982 5268 with a few photos and your preferred date range. Same-day reply, quote within hours, deposit holds the slot. If your unit needs a post-renovation clean or sofa and mattress extraction as well, mention it — we can bundle into one visit and save you a second team callout.
If you’ve never booked us before, mention it — we typically prefer to do a first-time client visit in early-February rather than the final crunch week, so we can get the calibration right without time pressure. After your first visit, we have your home’s profile saved and can move faster on the next pre-festival clean.
Looking ahead beyond Raya: Deepavali 2026 falls in late October, and Chinese New Year 2027 in early February. Most of our recurring clients book those slots in the same conversation — quarterly cadence around major Malaysian festivals tends to work out to roughly the right deep-clean frequency anyway.
